About us - The good, the bad and the ugly

We believe in a world where liking your work is not an unachievable dream. And as crazy as it sounds, it starts with onboarding.

We have seen the bad kind of onboarding, the ugly, or, as other people call it, nonexistent onboarding and a little bit of good onboarding. We’ve been on well-functioning teams and on teams where members barely spoke to each other. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs struggling to integrate first employees in their recently-funded company whilst balancing an ever-growing backlog, we thought we could help them figure it out before they get a burnout.

That’s the story of Polarity. Plain and simple, we saw a problem and figured we could help. Starting with friends, we discovered what Seed/Series A start-up founders have to deal with: misunderstandings with employees, overbooked agendas, miscommunication, a ton of decisions to be made, and way too much to do every day.

So what do we actually bring to the table? We listen, coach, and help you design the best possible onboarding experience for your new employees (and no, not the kind that is done in a week). Our biggest contribution is helping you structure and organise your onboarding experience and overall employee experience in a way that your new team will not want to leave you in a few months.

Every founder is different and so are their problems, which is why a one-size-fits-all solution will not work.
